You won’t get audio through the controller so there’s no need to connect a headset. With Xbox Wireless or USB connections, you can connect 4 Xbox Wireless Controllers at the same time.

I've searched about this and most of the times it means a driver problem. I have tried installing the driver two games: manually and automatically (Windows download): But the wireless adaptor seems to be malfunctioning: the controller connects to it erraticatly (and when I say connect I mean that the LED light locks in both devices, I assume this means the binding is achieved) and not ever it was detected by the PC. 
I managed to install the controller using drivers provided by Windows automatically, and it does work via USB.
I got an Xbox one controller for PC yesterday, which came with a wireless adapter.
